Literature Text
My shrill cry breaks the silence of night,
As I am haunted by memories, that I try most to forget,
Trapped in a fantasy world.
Beads of perspiration take their place above my brow,
And my breath quickens to a frightening speed,
As I recall the painful events of my nightmare.
My mind betrays me as it reminds myself of the events in which I am most ashamed,
Sending me to places of my past,
Eliminating any chance of rest.
I weep as I replay the horridness of my own imagination,
But I make an attempt at slumber,
And once again begin to dream.

With You
If I were to
descend
into solitary abyss
would I shatter
into fragments so sharp?
Like glass
that has been pushed
too far.
If my mind were to
crumble
into sand
colourless dust
would I be any
different
than the beasts
that haunt me?
If my heart were to

Further than life
and death
could I make a wish
to make pretty people

To harsh?
If I were to
close
my eyes for more than
one moment
It's better than living
with you

Someday
I heard you open the door at half past nine...
We had a fight,
I knew you were leaving this time...
I thought about laying down in it's path,
thinking you might get off just for that...
Do you remember that night we laid in bed,
naming all our kids that we haven't had yet?
One for your best friend and one for mine,
Ended up agreeing to decide when it came time...
Maybe, I can move on just like you,
When the desert floods and the grass turns blue,
When the sailing ship doesn't need the moon,
It'll break my heart but I'll get through...
Someday when I stop loving you...
I bet all I had on a thing called love,
but in the e

Streets
Say goodbye to the streets for me,
Because I won't be seeing them again.
Tell them how I loved their noise,
How it kept me from sleeping at night.
The way they took me away when I ran,
It was so calm when they subdued me,
Took away my thoughts when I couldn't.
Tell them I will be missing them so,
Because nobody knew me like they did.
Say I will remember them forever.

Some minor grammatical mistakes, but otherwise definitely well written.
